| Care services of Long-term care insurance system are provided after care certification is offered by local government. And total cost of services has its limit depending on the category of requires. |

| Application for certification Wakaba makes applications in place of clients(Free service). |
| Home visiting inquiry Applicants have to respond to questionnaires posed by local government staff. |
| Primary decision Decision made by computer using questionnaires results. |
| Nursing Care Authorization Board This board makes final decision referring primary decision and statement of applicant's doctor. |
| Certification All applicants are classified as Requires assistance(category 1 to 2), Requires nursing care (category 1 to 5) and Self-sufficient |
| Sending results Local government of your residence send you results. |

| Preventive planning and preventive care services You can make your care plan by youself or demand it to a care service provider such as Wakaba. Services are provided accordingly to the plan. |

Services of local governments You cannot profit Long-term care system but can use services provided by your municipality. |
| Immediate service If you or your family need care services immediately, services can be provided soon after application. In this case user have to pay full cost at first and 90% of cost should be payed back later from insurance body when the certification is requires assistance category 1 to 2 or requires nursing care category 1 to 5. |
Services for self-sufficient elderlies Even though the nursing care authorization board's decision is self-sufficient, elderlies may profit many kind of services provided by local governments. Please contact us. |
